Grilled, Cheese & Coleslaw Sandwich
Grilled cheese & Coleslaw sandwich. It is an amazing sandwich which has our favourite Coleslaw filling along with indulgent cheese.
Coleslaw is a side dish consisting of shredded cabbage and mayo dressing. It has a nice fresh taste and when put in between two bread slices yields an amazing sandwich to go. The non grilled version is as amazing as the grilled version and perfect for day outs.
This grilled sandwich will leave you wanting for more. Go ahead! Give it a try.

Ingredients For Coleslaw Sandwich
- Shredded Cabbage 2 cups (I used purple cabbage)
- Shredded carrot 1 cup
- Boiled corn 1/2 cup
- 1 Capsicum cut into juliennes
- Mayonnaise 1/4th cup
- Vinegar 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder 1 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Garlic seasoning 1tsp (optional)
- Cheese slices of your choice
- Bread slices of your choice
- Butter for toasting
HOW TO MAKE COLESLAW SANDWICH
- First, prepare the coleslaw.
- In a large mixing bowl toss cabbage, carrots, capsicum and boil corn along with the dressing, including of mayonnaise, vinegar, salt and black pepper. Keep aside.
- Heat up a grill pan or skillet to toast the sandwich.
- Apply the coleslaw to one of the bread slices. Place a cheese slice and top off with the another bread slice. Prepare all sandwiches in the same manner.
- Toast the sandwich on the pan with butter till the bread turns nice golden brown and the cheese melts. Press the sandwich in the process.
- Serve hot.
