Roti Chaat

Ingredients For Roti Chaat

  • 4-5         Leftover Rotis (Indian Flatbread)
  • 2            medium-sized finely chopped onions
  • 2            medium-sized finely chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup     beaten curd
  • 1/2 cup  tamarind chutney 
  • 4 Tbsp   green chutney
  • 2 tsp      jeera (cumin) powder
  • 2 tsp      chaat masala
  • 2 tsp      red chili powder
  • salt        as per taste
  • nylon sev for garnishing
  • coriander leaves for garnishing 
  • oil for deep frying

HOW TO MAKE ROTI CHAAT

  • Firstly, cut all the rotis into four quarters and set them aside. Heat up oil in a wok.
  • Deep fry the roti pieces in hot oil till golden brown and crisp. Let them cool.
  • Place all the fried roti pieces on a plate and start by applying curd and green chutney. Add chopped tomatoes and onions.
  • Pour over the tamarind chutney and sprinkle jeera powder, chili powder, chaat masala, and salt.
  • Finish off with the addition of nylon sev and chopped coriander.
  • Enjoy your roti chaat while it's still crispy.
