Ingredients For Roti Chaat
- 4-5 Leftover Rotis (Indian Flatbread)
- 2 medium-sized finely chopped onions
- 2 medium-sized finely chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup beaten curd
- 1/2 cup tamarind chutney
- 4 Tbsp green chutney
- 2 tsp jeera (cumin) powder
- 2 tsp chaat masala
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- salt as per taste
- nylon sev for garnishing
- coriander leaves for garnishing
- oil for deep frying
HOW TO MAKE ROTI CHAAT
- Firstly, cut all the rotis into four quarters and set them aside. Heat up oil in a wok.
- Deep fry the roti pieces in hot oil till golden brown and crisp. Let them cool.
- Place all the fried roti pieces on a plate and start by applying curd and green chutney. Add chopped tomatoes and onions.
- Pour over the tamarind chutney and sprinkle jeera powder, chili powder, chaat masala, and salt.
- Finish off with the addition of nylon sev and chopped coriander.
- Enjoy your roti chaat while it's still crispy.
